HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - The Perry Central Commodores are coming off of a 4-7 season and are hoping to turn things around this fall.

The Commodores return senior quarterback Aaron Johnson, who threw for 805 yards and four touchdowns last season, and leading rusher Kaiden Gibson, who rushed for 869 yards and nine touchdowns.

The offensive line will be led by seniors Landon Sandlin and Scott Williams.

“Just want to bring some energy,” Sandlin stated. “Playing on the O-line you get down on yourself a lot. D-line too. I like to let everyone know it’s always a good time. You get to hit someone every play. Not everyone gets to do that so it’s a good time. Just make sure they’re encouraged, and having a good time just like I am.”
