PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - The Paintsville Football team went 4-8 last season, and are looking to bounce back in 2025 under first-year head coach Brian Melvin.

“Their work ethic is there,” Head Coach Brian Melvin stated. “Now we just got to go prove it on the field you know. Hoping we can just show up and line up and be competitive in some games...We got a good cast. It’s just now putting the product on the field.”

Melvin was a long=time assistant of the Tigers before switching to his new role.

“I know what it means to put Paintsville across your chest,” Coach Brian Melvin said. “It’s a great honor to lead this program.”

For the tigers, the climb back to title contention begins with players stepping up.
