OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A 48-year-old Oklahoma City man was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison on Friday for child sex trafficking.
Officials say, according to public records, a homeless female minor was recruited by another individual on September 15, 2023, to work for the man now indicted, 48-year-old Marlon Dewayne Martin, to make money using the minor for commercialized sex acts.
Martin was said to have known that the minor was under the age of 18.
“The actions of Marlon Dewayne Martin could best be described as pure evil, using a juvenile victim for commercial sex trafficking and distributing child pornography,” said Donnie Anderson, Director of the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. “I want to thank the US Attorney’s Office Western District for their prosecution
