Elmer Candy says don't you worry your pretty little taste buds over its sale to a Florida-based firm. Those Gold Brick eggs and Heavenly Hash treats you used to get at K&B and Schwegmann's will not go the way of "ain't dere no more."

“We're not changing a thing and we're here for the long haul," said Rob Nelson, CEO of Elmer Candy Corporation. "We as a family have kind of always played the long game and we're looking for a way to be here for another 170 years.”

Nelson says look for the company to add to its 350 employees.
