ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to the area of C.R. 17 south of C.R. 40 around 6:46 a.m. Thursday for a single-vehicle crash.

The report states a 2015 Dodge Ram, driven by a 265-year-old Atwood, Ind. man, was traveling north in the 66000 block of C.R. 17 before suddenly leaving the roadway to the west.

The Ram then rolled several times before coming to a stop.

The driver had complaints of chest pain and was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries.

He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Share
