INDIANAPOLIS — A well-known television journalist and former co-host of NBC's TODAY Show is scheduled to speak at the Indiana Conference for Women in October.

Hoda Kotb has been announced as the final keynote speaker for the event Oct. 23 at downtown Indy's JW Marriott Hotel.

“The timing was serendipitous for ICFW organizers,” said ICFW co-founder Dr. Billie Dragoo. “We are thrilled that Hoda accepted our invitation.”

Kotb appeared on TODAY for 17 years before leaving in January. She is an author of 9 books and currently hosts a popular podcast.

Other speakers at this year's event include fashion designer and philanthropist Tina Knowles, author Emma Heming Willis and NBC Universal vice-chair Bonnie Hammer.
