BEAUREGARD PARISH, La. (KPLC) - Inside a packed leadership luncheon, Beauregard Health System CEO Traci Thibodeaux outlined a plan she says will strengthen healthcare for years to come.

Thibodeaux, shared how important this initiative is for the community.

“We love our healthcare professionals. We invest in our healthcare professionals by way of mentorships, scholarships and internships. There’s room for us all, and we have the opportunity to invest and mold and shape the future of these young professionals,” Thibodeaux said.

She talked about 10-year 10-mill property tax expected to bring in about $4.1 million per year. That money would fund a new clinic in South Beauregard with primary and special care, radiology, lab services and a drive-up pharmacy.
