EVANSVILLE, Ind. — A fleeing Ohio motorcyclist was arrested Friday after Indiana State Police say he was slowed by construction traffic in Evansville .
According to a release from ISP, around noon on Aug. 8 a trooper was patrolling the Lloyd Expressway near U.S. 41 when the trooper saw a motorcycle traveling eastbound at speeds in excess of 80 mph.
The trooper attempted to pull over the motorcycle, but the rider and his passenger continued to pass vehicles at a high rate of speed in the eastbound lanes, according to police.
It wasn't until the motorcyclist, identified as a 35-year-old Ohio man, was slowed by construction traffic on the Lloyd Expressway near Burkhardt Road that police were able to take him into custody.
