Staying Hot Tomorrow

We’ve seen some very warm, even above seasonally average conditions the past few days here in Mid-Missouri. That looks to continue heading into tomorrow. We’ll have triple digit feels-like temperatures in most of the region. If you’re planning on attending the Missouri State Fair tomorrow, prepare for some significant heat! Pettis county, among many others, is under a heat advisory through tomorrow evening.

Rain Cooled Air Brings Relief

The good news is that on the back side of this, some higher rain chances are expected to cool the air down throughout the region, bringing our highs back into the 80s heading into the beginning of next week. We may need to watch for a flash flooding concern on Sunday, though.
