Temperatures on Friday will reach the lower 90s with a heat index in the triple digits. Saturday temps will be fairly similar.

Cloud cover will increase through the day on Saturday. Isolated sprinkles are possible by the late evening, but most of the rain will hold off until overnight.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible starting early on Sunday morning. These showers and storms will then continue off and on as we head into the beginning of next week.

Some storms could have wind gusts around 40 MPH and pockets of heavy rain. Heavy rain looks more likely north of I-70 where some places could receive over two inches of rain. This will be something we watch carefully over the next few days.
