Thursday is a much drier day compared to previous days this week as a small chance for isolated afternoon showers remain in the forecast for areas of the North Carolina mountains. Unseasonably cool temperatures stick around into the early part of the weekend as highs top out into the mid 70s to the lower 80s which is about 10° below normal.
