ATLANTA -- Detroit Lions defensive back Morice Norris was injured on the first play of the fourth quarter, with an ambulance taking him off the field.

Norris made an attempt at a diving run stop on Atlanta Falcons running back Nathan Carter, when it appeared he took a knee to the facemask. Trainers came onto the field with the backboard and the cart to take him off the field almost immediately.

After a couple of minutes, trainers waved for the ambulance to come onto the field for the injured defensive back. Both teams took a knee on the field and the sideline while Norris was down, clearing the way for the ambulance to come onto the field.
