JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office reported that possible human remains were located in Center Point Friday morning.

According to the JCSO, deputies responded to the 1300 block of 5th Place N.W. at around 10:46 a.m. to investigate a report of possible human remains being located. The remains will be gathered by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office to determine whether they are human or not.
