TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Reid Park Zoo and the Tucson International Airport (TUS) are collaborating to combat wildlife trafficking through the Association of Zoos and Aquariums' "I Travel for Wildlife" campaign.

This initiative will be featured at TUS and it aims to educate travelers on the impact of illegal wildlife products, officials said.

The Wildlife Conservation Society estimates the illegal wildlife trade is valued at $7.8 billion to $10 billion annually. The campaign seeks to reduce demand for these products by informing travelers about responsible souvenir purchases and avoiding exotic pets.
