SALISBURY — The Salisbury City Council approved an approximately $2.8 million contract with Downtowner Holdings on Tuesday to officially get the ball rolling on the microtransit pilot project, which will replace one of the city’s bus routes with a ride-sharing service.
The program will replace the city’s route three, or the blue route, which primarily runs through Spencer, East Spencer and Salisbury along Main Street and Long Street.
