A body has been found in the search for a missing man from Ashford .

Formal identification has yet to take place but a spokesperson for Kent Police said the family of a missing 94 year old man from Ashford have been informed.

Officers had put out an appeal for the public, for their help locating Donald Schofield, who was last seen on Friday, August 8, in Tenterden.

The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
