The weekend will bring a generally dry day Saturday with rain chances returning Sunday afternoon.

High pressure will keep skies mostly sunny on Saturday with temps warming into the mid 80s. We’ll see increasing clouds on Sunday with scattered afternoon showers and storms building in. Highs Sunday will again reach the mid 80s.

If you are heading to the beaches Saturday, the Outer Banks will have a high risk of dangerous rip currents. The risk will be moderate to low along the Crystal Coast.

Heading into next week, heat and humidity will linger for the area, as the typical pop-and-go showers and storms. Highs return to the upper 80s and low 90s.

As for any tropical trouble for ENC, no tropical issues are expected in the Carolinas through the next week.
