An ambulance service soliciting for membership donations has officials in Marcus Hook unhappy.

Oh Thursday, Marcus Hook officials posted a notice to the borough website and on social media advising residents who received a donation request from VCMS Emergency Services that the borough has not contracted that organization for 2026. The borough does, however, have a signed contract through the end of 2025.

In that contract, VMSC states it will send of membership mailers, however in the notice the borough posted, officials said they will not know who their ambulance service will be with until later this year.

The borough manager has not replied to a request for comment.
