The Nottingham Irish Centre in Wilford Street, Nottingham city centre

Nottingham's Irish Centre could lose its license after a number of "serious incidents". A notice has been displayed outside the centre on Wilford Street, near the Nottingham and Beeston Canal in Nottingham, following an alleged incident on Sunday, August 3.

An application has been made to Nottingham City Council by senior licensing enforcement officer Helen Guest-High on Thursday, August 7, asking for a review of the centre's premises licence. A notice displayed outside the Irish Centre reads: "The grounds of the application for the summary review are that, in the opinion of a senior police officer, the premises are associated with serious crime and/or disorder."
