Joe Cole has warned that Matheus Cunha's "maverick" character might not suit Manchester United's dressing room.

Following a deeply frustrating season, head coach Ruben Amorim has been provided with resources to strengthen his attacking options, with Cunha, £65m winger Bryan Mbeumo and newly-announced £74million signing Benjamin Sesko all touching down.

Cunha was secured first, joining from Wolves at the start of June after his £62.5m release clause was triggered. Nevertheless, Cole, who excelled in the Premier League for West Ham, Chelsea, and Liverpool, considers the 26-year-old's mentality a significant concern.
