HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A person was killed Saturday morning in a single-vehicle wreck near Flossie Road in Horry County, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.

It happened just before 5 a.m. when a 2002 Nissan Altima ran off the road and struck a utility pole, killing the only person inside.

No further information was immediately available.
