LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Lancaster County Super Fair is pushing forward on its final day despite damage from a powerful storm early Saturday morning at the Sandhills Global Event Center.
Organizers said the carnival was not impacted, but several vendor tents were heavily damaged. The storm also caused a stage to flip over onto a nearby tent. Crews are working quickly to set up a replacement stage so live music can still go on as planned at 7 p.m.
Ribfest vendors also reported damage to their setups, but fair staff and volunteers are working together to clean up and get activities back on track.
Today marks the last day of the fair, which has brought a week of rides, food, music and entertainment to Lincoln.
