WINTERS, Calif. —

An auto body shop owner in Winters was convicted Thursday on multiple counts of theft after he failed to perform paid-for and promised services on multiple vehicles, according to the Solano County District Attorney's Office.

Keith Scott Williamson owns Winters Auto Body and Paint Shop. Jurors found that he committed theft by false pretences on five separate customers.

The district attorney's office said the crimes occurred between 2017 and 2020, and each customer had paid Williamson to perform restoration body work, paint jobs, or in some cases, a complete overhaul of classic vehicles. The total loss from all five customers was $90,000.
