The Cincinnati Fraternal Order of Police is calling for a police consultant retained by the city manager's office to be removed from her job.
The Cincinnati FOP says that Iris Roley, a city consultant on policing matters, has a pattern of repeatedly intervening in police responses while officers are on duty. Advertisement
Roley has been with the city since 2022, and helps the city to implement the Collaborative Agreement, a legal settlement between the city of Cincinnati, Cincinnati FOP, Cincinnati Black United Front and ACLU born out of the aftermath of the 2001 riots within the city. The agreement sought to provide a multitude of additional layers of oversight on actions done by city police officers.
