Interstate 44's eastbound lanes will be closed at the Highway AH exit east of St. Clair for several nights in the coming weeks while crews make girder repairs on a bridge that was struck, according to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release.

The bridge will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly starting Sunday, Aug. 10 and continuing until Thursday, Aug. 14, according to MoDOT. The same night work will start again from Sunday, Aug. 17, through Thursday, Aug. 21. ×
