We’re almost to kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, and the Minnesota Vikings have announced what is, basically, an inactive list for today’s game.

The team has announced that 13 players are “not likely to play” in today’s preseason opener against the Houston Texans. That list of players is as follows: • DL Jonathan Allen • LB Blake Cashman • OT Christian Darrisaw • OLB Jonathan Greenard • DL Javon Hargrave • RB Aaron Jones Sr. • WR Robert Lewis • S Josh Metellus • CB Byron Murphy Jr. • WR Justin Jefferson • DL Harrison Phillips • S Harrison Smith • OLB Andrew Van Ginkel

Again, a lot of those players are starters for the Vikings and/or dealing with injuries, so it’s not surprising that they won’t see the field today.
