COLUMBUS, Ohio — Tim and Lindsey Pierce are adjusting to life with a newborn — their first baby — at their home in London, Ohio.

“He’s got three things on his mind: clean me, feed me and let me sleep,” Tim said.

Baby Thaddeus was born on July 26 at 5:48 a.m. but his story begins in 1994, long before his birth .

Tim and Lindsey always knew they wanted to start a family, and after years of struggling with infertility, they began the process of embryo adoption through Nightlight Christian Adoptions.

The agency connects couples like the Pierces with donors of unused embryos to give them a chance at life.
