An investigation into an alleged rape by Conor McGregor will not be reopened by the Irish Police — and they consider the case closed, it has emerged.

Gardai are not re-examining or re-investigating the alleged December 2018 rape of Nikita Hand at Dublin's Beacon Hotel by the UFC fighter, the Irish Mirror reports. The decision comes despite a High Court civil jury's finding that he raped her and the recent Court of Appeal judgement upholding that decision .
