Thompson Valley offensive lineman Josiah Manu was gearing up for a college journey on the West Coast.

Now, he’s just planning to going down the road.

On Saturday, Manu, a class of 2026 recruit, announced his verbal commitment to Colorado and head coach Deion Sanders.

“100% committed,” he wrote on X, along with a message announcing his decision to flip his pledge from San Jose State.

Rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports, Manu has eight scholarship offers, including from Arizona, Fresno State, Washington State and Wyoming. He had committed to San Jose State on July 1, but received an offer from CU about three weeks later.
