PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A man and woman each face multiple charges after a Portland traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs, guns and cash on August 3, police said Saturday.
Justin Holder, 42, and 35-year-old Crystal Holder were arrested after trying to get away from the police near NE Sunderland and 33rd at around 11 a.m. that morning. They were inside a parked 2024 Jeep Cherokee without license plates and officers put Stop Sticks around their tires to prevent their escape.
But when they noticed the police, they took off anyway "and tried to steer" toward a nearby officer. They didn't get far because their tires were deflated and the Jeep was spotted near NE Faloma Road and Marine Drive.
