DEXTER -- The Town of Dexter welcomed thousands of hot dog lovers yet again on Saturday, as their annual Maine Red Hot Dog Festival returned.

"It's a little bit of everything. It's kind go a music festival that has hot dogs, that's how I look at it, we have so many bands come and it's eventful that way and again we have things for everybody," explained Dexter town manager Trampas King.

"Every year it keeps growing bigger and bigger and bigger, they keep doing a better and better job," shared Sean Smith, Vice President for Maine-based hot dog company W.A. Bean & Sons. "We catch the excitement, the energy that the people of Dexter put forth, all the volunteers that come together, you can see how the community comes together year after year."
