Molly Gordon is explaining why she didn’t initially write Oh, Hi! to be a horror movie.

The 29-year-old star and co-writer of the movie appeared on a recent episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers where she talked about the movie.

Oh, Hi! follows as Iris and Isaac, played by Molly and Logan Lerman , go on a romantic getaway. Things take an uncomfortable twist when the two of them realize that they each had a different vision of where their relationship stood. Instead of going their separate ways, Iris makes the decision to hold Isaac hostage until she can convince him to see things her way.

Although this movie is a nightmare for many couples, Molly says it wasn’t supposed to be a horror movie.
