MONTEREY, Ky. —

Kentucky State Police say that they are investigating a murder that took place in Owen County early Saturday morning.

According to police, 26-year-old Jamar Douglas of Louisville was found by responding officers to have sustained multiple gunshot wounds near Monterey, Kentucky. He was found to be unconscious as first responders arrived on the scene.

Shortly afterward, police say that 52-year-old Gary Bullion of Ghent, Kentucky, was arrested by officers in connection with the shooting.
