PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting in the Spring Garden neighborhood Saturday evening.

Police believe this was not a case of random gunfire inside a short-term rental property on North 13th Street.

Neighbors helped authorities to quickly capture their suspect.

"I heard maybe 10, 11 pops right in a row. Spun my chair, looked out the window, and caught the last one or two," said Chuck, a witness to the shooting.

Multiple witnesses on the 300 block of North 13th Street said they saw the shooting unfold around 6:19 p.m.

"He was shooting into that door aiming upwards just bang, bang, bang, bang bang. I saw him run up the street toward Callowhill, then come back bloody," said Alex Rodriguez, a witness.
