Arkansas State Police officials on Friday touted the guilty pleas of five suspects in a February 2023 homicide at a concert in Newport, with the convictions signaling the end of a two-year investigation into the killing.

Tashawn Landers, 24, and Steven Dye, 21, each pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder and six counts of committing a terroristic act in the Feb. 5, 2023, shooting at the former Branch High School building on Clay Street that killed Tamrionna Jarrett, 19, of Augusta and wounded several others, according to a state police news release.

Aaron Warren III, 31, and Richard McGee, 33, each pleaded guilty to committing a terroristic act and four counts of aggravated assault connected to the incident, while a fifth man, 24-year-old Dedrick Robinson,
