Manchester United drew 1-1 with Fiorentina before winning a penalty shootout in their final pre-season game of the summer.

United's pre-season schedule has consisted of challenges against Leeds, West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton, before a final pre-season outing against Fiorentina at Old Trafford.

Fiorentina took the lead early in the first half through Simon Sohm, who was unmarked from a corner. United quickly responded thanks to a Robin Gosens own goal, but the game ended 1-1.

A penalty shootout followed which United won 5-4 to lift the Snapdragon Cup.
