Rain from yesterday combined with light winds are causing area of dense fog to form this morning across the Northwoods. Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9am.

Very tricky forecast today in terms of telling you when we will see rain and storms today and where exactly we will see it as model guidance has been very poor this morning. Forecasting scattered showers and storms at times today, but we are not looking at a complete washout.

The main concern today is heavy rain potential. Rainfall totals could push 1-2", especially if you see multiple heavy downpours over one location. Severe threat remains low , but storms could produce gusty winds and small hail.

Otherwise, warm and muggy today with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s.
