A cold front moving from west to east across the state has flared up some thunderstorm activity this afternoon. Isolated to scattered showers and storms will continue this evening and while most of the storms will cause little harm, one or two could be come strong with a wind and hail threat.
Our rain and storm chance should come to an end around 9pm, before clear skies persist overnight. The front will take the muggy air with it, giving us a night to open up the windows with lows in the upper 50s and low 60s.
However, the passage of the front means wildfire smoke will move in from the north on Wednesday morning and continue into the afternoon. The smoke will likely reach dangerous levels for all. While we do not have an Air Quality Alert, expect one to b
