Honolulu police are searching for the suspect involved in a shooting that left one man injured in Kalihi.

Police responded to the scene on Kalena Street at approximately 10 p.m. Saturday.

A witness reported to police that “a local male in a white Honda CR-V” fired multiple shots that hit the 30-year-old victim who was standing in front of his residence.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

The Honolulu Police Department has opened an attempted murder and reckless endangering investigation.
