Dewberry, a longtime engineering firm that has had its Danville office for nearly 50 years, is moving from Piney Forest Road to Dan River Falls.

Like the Dan River Region itself, the Fairfax County-based firm is growing. The local office has seen an increase in clients and plans to hire more staff.

“It’s due to the growth in our business,” Dewberry Senior Vice President and Business Unit Manager Brian Bradner said of the planned relocation.

Dewberry employs architects, engineers, surveyors and environmental scientists who work on development projects for federal, state and local governments and for private entities.
