TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The 7th annual Tallahassee Beer Festival kicked off this weekend, drawing thousands of people to the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center for food, games and unlimited pours.

National, local and home brewers provided more than 400 fermentation varieties for guests.

Hundreds of vendors, games and live music were provided for a special cause as the event’s proceeds go directly to United Partners for Human Services.

We spoke to one brewing company called Tvelo from Thomasville, Georgia. The owner said the festival is about more than beer; it’s about the community coming together.

“I just love to be out, feel the energy [and] see some of the same faces from last year or other beer festivals,” Maurice Jackson said.
