ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
The Smoke Show BBQ and Music Fest was a solid option for anyone looking to enjoy the rest of their Saturday.
There was a lot of food and music to check out -- but everyone was also dealing with the
heat on top of it. Temperatures almost reached 100 degrees, but that did not keep people from coming out.
Organizers told KOAT that the turnout was good and that they had resources to help people stay cool.
Bonnie Marquez with Activated Events Marketing said, "We sell water bottles and then also have hydration stations. We also have multiple giant shade structures and several of them have misting stations in them."
