ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The Attleboro Fire Department said that the residents of an apartment on Greenwich Street would be temporarily displaced after a fire on Aug. 9.
Firefighters arrived at the single-family home with attached apartment at 11 a.m. to find heavy fire coming from the rear.
The fire was quickly knocked down and contained to the second story apartment.
All residents were able to escape the building on their own, and two were taken to the hospital for evaluation after suspected smoke inhalation but were released.
There were no other injuries.
