Usually a big weekend to begin with, the 37th Wallaceburg Antique Motor and Boat Outing drew even more crowds downtown for the festivities.

Combined with the community’s milestone 150th anniversary, not to mention the Steven Page Trio and perfect summer weather, there was something for everyone, with thousands of people attending over the course of the event.

Matt Thomas, WAMBO cars manager, said there were 200 vehicles on display, up around 40 from last year. Visitors could check out classic cars and trucks of every style, in addition to motorcycles .

“Maybe it’s the 150th year,” he said of the response. “Or could be the entertainment.”
