Love Island host Maya Jama could reportedly secure a lucrative deal for ITV’s longtime reality show hit to prevent losing her to rivals like Netflix.

The twist-filled, sunny dating show just wrapped up for another year, and the show seems to be on the up and up with some fans hailing it ‘the best season ever’ and their viewing figures hitting 2.5 million – higher than it has been in years.

A large part of this recent success coincides with the 30-year-old host taking over as the presenter in 2023 (after it experienced all-time lows of 1.3m viewers), not only revitalising the format but also gaining 3.2m followers along the way.
