Paramedics Sunday morning treated and released a person from the scene of a detached garage fire at a single-story home in San Pedro, authorities said.

Firefighters dispatched at 2:21 a.m. to 1169 W. 15th St. had the fire out within 21 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

A person was treated and released at the scene.

No other injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
