August's full moon has peaked, but there is still time to see the full moon over Michigan before it starts to wane.

Although August's full moon, known as the sturgeon moon , has peaked, it will still appear full Sunday, Aug. 10, to people who missed it over the weekend.

In addition to the bright moon, Michigan skies will be illuminated by the Perseid meteors streaking overhead. If you miss the meteors this weekend, don't worry; the light show still has a couple more weeks.
