FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A cat show was held in Fort Wayne over the weekend.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Grassroots Cat Fanciers was held at the Allen County Fairgrounds.
The event encouraged cat enthusiasts to exhibit their feline friends while enjoying the vendors, contests, awards, and more that the event had to offer.
Established in 1906, the Cat Fanciers’ Association is the world’s largest registry of pedigreed cats. The association’s mission is to ‘promote and preserve pedigreed cat breeds while also advocating for the well-being of all cats’.
The association’s grassroots group, founded in 2019, focuses on ‘encouraging and assisting new fanciers and cat enthusiasts who would like to get involved in the Cat Fanciers’ Association’.
