SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

A man was stabbed on Norwood Avenue early Sunday morning, Sacramento police said.

The stabbing happened just after 7 a.m. on Norwood Avenue near Jessie Avenue in North Sacramento.

Officers responded to the scene and located a male victim with at least one stab wound. The patient was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police were not able to release any suspect information. However, officers are on scene actively investigating.
