TAYLOR, Mich. — A Little League team based from Macon made it all the way.
The Vine Ingle Little League has already achieved tremendous success after defeating the Southwest representative, a team from Texas, to win the U.S. Junior Championship and advance to the World Series Championships.
On Sunday, they had an opportunity to win it all against Chinese Taipei, a team that also went undefeated on the World side of the tournament. However, they lost 8-1.
The team, which competed in the Intermediate World Series last year, joined the Junior Division to aim for the top. This division allows players aged between 12 and 14 to compete in 12 different regions.
This differs from the Little League World Series, which has 16 regions and features players between 10 and 12 years old. However,
